Marketing measurement here.
Wayfinding without ad tracking there.
HospitalDirections.com is our marketing site. Hospital wayfinding deployments are separate experiences, built for the hospital—not for advertising or retargeting.
What the Riverview demonstration uses
The Riverview route finder uses a selected starting point and destination. A location code in a QR link can prefill the starting point. The demonstration is fictional; please do not enter real patient information.
Browser session storage
Riverview may remember the selected starting point in that browser tab using sessionStorage. That is browser storage, not a patient account or a server-side patient record.
Check-in examples
Some demonstration routes show hospital-defined check-in steps—for example, whether a visitor should go to registration before continuing to a lab. These examples illustrate the type of guidance a hospital can configure.
No continuous location feed
Riverview uses known starting points, QR locations, curated routes, and static maps. It does not present itself as continuous GPS or beacon-based positioning.
What this marketing site uses
HospitalDirections.com may use analytics and advertising measurement tools to understand visits, campaign performance, and which outreach brings people to the site. Those tools are kept on the marketing website—not on a hospital’s wayfinding deployment.
Analytics and advertising pixels
With your permission, HospitalDirections.com uses the Meta Pixel to measure visits to this marketing site and help us show Hospital Directions ads to people who have visited it. The pixel loads only after you choose “Allow analytics and ads.” Meta may receive browser and device details and information about marketing pages viewed. The Riverview route finder and hospital wayfinding deployments do not load this pixel.
Your analytics and advertising choice is stored locally in this browser. You can review or change it for future visits below.
Contact requests
The demo-request form sends the business contact information you submit—including any optional Zoom time suggestions—to admin@hospitaldirections.com. The site does not need patient information for this form, and you should not submit any.
Hosting logs
Like most websites, the hosting provider may maintain security and access logs. Those operational logs are different from advertising pixels or retargeting.
Hospital deployments are intentionally separate
Each hospital receives its own wayfinding URL or dedicated web environment. Hospital Directions does not use those patient-facing wayfinding sites for advertising measurement, ad retargeting, or cross-site marketing campaigns.
Accuracy is part of the implementation
Hospital Directions sets the system up with the hospital rather than handing over a blank platform. The implementation/build fee includes an on-site mapping visit to walk the campus, verify important visitor routes, identify useful QR starting points, and review check-in sequences and landmarks in the real environment.
Routes are reviewed more than once: during the build, during the on-site walk-through, and with the hospital team before the directions are published. When the campus changes, affected destinations, instructions, and routes can be updated through the ongoing service.
This page describes the intended product and marketing architecture. Contract terms for a hospital deployment define the final hosting, support, data-handling, and operational responsibilities.
